Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 September 2026
Please review before relying on this. These terms describe how the service is meant to work, but the operator must confirm the company details, the pricing, the governing law and the liability limits are right for their business, and should take legal advice before treating them as final.
These terms govern your use of Metorite. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
1. The service
Metorite is a company operating system provided as software as a service by Hathi Labs ("we", "us"). We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your internal business purposes while your subscription is active.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it current.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for the people you invite.
- The first person to create an organisation becomes its owner and can add and remove members.
- Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been used without permission.
3. Trials, plans and payment
- New organisations start on a free trial. The product works normally during it.
- Your plan begins when we confirm payment. Seats are charged per user per month, plus AI usage.
- Fees are exclusive of taxes, which we add where the law requires.
- If payment fails we may place the account in a grace period. The product keeps working during that period.
- If the account stays unpaid we may suspend it. Your data remains safe, and paying restores access.
4. Your content
You keep all rights in the data you put into Metorite. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and display it so we can run the service for you, and to make backups.
You are responsible for having the right to put that data into the product, including any data about other people.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's rights, using the service;
- upload malicious code, or try to gain access to another organisation's data;
- probe, scan or overload the service, or get around its limits;
- resell or white-label the service without our written agreement;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law says you may.
We may suspend an account that is causing harm to the service or to others, and we will tell you why.
6. AI features
Some features send your content to AI model providers to generate a result. AI output can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it, especially for anything with legal, financial or safety consequences. You remain responsible for decisions you make using the product.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service available, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We may take it down for maintenance, and we try to do so at quiet times. We do not offer a service level guarantee under these terms.
8. Cancelling and ending
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
- After cancellation, sign-in stays open for an export window so you can take your data out.
- After that window we delete your organisation and its content, other than records we must keep by law.
- We may end these terms if you break them materially and do not fix it within 30 days of us telling you.
9. Our intellectual property
We keep all rights in Metorite itself, including the software, the design and the name. These terms give you no rights in it except the right to use it as described.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell account administrators by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
